The Cedar Valley Phoenix is making history in the Northeast Iowa Basketball Association by being the first all African-American
team. They feel like they have a fair shot at taking home the title, even Aaron Green and Rylee Gardner are just rookies this
year. GM Curtis Jackson spoke to us earlier today about how he thinks he new franchise will do throughout the season: "I think
we have just as good of a shot as any team in the league. We have an up and coming star in Aaron Green with a solid role player
in Rylee Gardner. We will just have to see how this seasons plays out."
